2021 I Believe Award

Union City Pride board president Dave Nothum (right) was recognized by the Union City Community Foundation at its recent Annual Meeting with the "I Believe" award, which annually recognizes an individual or organization that goes above and beyond in service to the community. The foundation also makes a $2,000 donation to a nonprofit of the awardee's choice, which Nothum is directing to UC Pride. Presenting the award was UCCF board member Mark Webb. Foundation board chairman Steve Jones told the approximately 70 attendees the foundation's assets passed $5 million for the first time in 2020.
