Union City Community Foundation Annual Dinner

The Union City Community Foundation held our Annual Dinner on Monday, June 13, 2022 to celebrate and recap 2021. The theme was "Destination Success" as we continue to focus on grant making to strengthen our community. Chairman Steve Jones explained how we are focusing on "THE FORMULA FOR SUCCESS. . . the “Three-Legged Stool” as we all work together toward one common goal.

(1) Borough of Union City
* RESPONSIBLE for community development (beyond THE DAY-TO-DAY Duties).

(2) community-focused 501(c)(3)
* serves to capture funding and implement community development initiatives.
* smaller communities lack Chambers of Commerce.

(3) Community Foundation
* proactively provide leadership and project development as required.
* provide critical matching funds and other community development grants.
* Apply for project initiative funding by county, state, Federal, ECGRA, ECF and/or other granting sources.
